"Heaven preserve me from littleness and pleasantness and smoothness. Give me great glaring vices and great glaring virtues, but preserve me from neat little neutral ambiguities. Be wicked, be brave, be reckless, be dissolute, be despotic, be an anarchist, be a suffragette, be anything you like, but for pity's sake, be it to the top of your bent. Live fully, live passionately, live disastrously. Let's live, you and I, as none have ever lived before!"
- Violet Trefusis, 1918

Hello!
I've rebooted this old blog that no one read. Got rid of all the old entries and am starting fresh. Mostly because I want to write about my upcoming trip to Uganda!

On April 13 I will be going to Uganda with CACHA!

CACHA stands for The Canada Africa Community Health Alliance. “CACHA is a non-government organization that seeks to improve the health of rural communities through partnerships to facilitate programs and initiatives for disease prevention, treatment, care, support and education to the most vulnerable in BĂ©nin, Tanzania and Uganda.”
The mission in Uganda is a partnership with Ggoli Health Centre, Nkozi Hospital and Agnes Zabali Boys & Girls Club of Kamengo, Uganda (AZBGC) and has provided free healthcare services and treatment to approximately 30,000 patients of Kamengo and the surrounding area. More information about the mission can be found at http://www.cacha.ca/missions/kamengo-medical-mission-uganda-spring-2016-april-14-to-30-2016-182

The above quote is there because it was the quote on my last entry of my old blog and when I read it I realized that I still loved that quote and it seems appropriate to start this reboot with it as well.
To living fully, passionately and disastrously!
